While that is true it should not result in Renpy system errors. That looks to be a driver issue.
It's a bug, I will fix it tomorrow when I'm able to replicate it.
It's caused by changes related to this new feature:
- The old posing interface (where you can zoom in/out and can ask the girl to turn left or right) has been upgraded to support better conversations between the characters. The MC can answer now, same as he already can with the new posing interface. -> will be part of 0.4.5.0
l_who1 = char1.fname
This should prevent the crash.

That's strange. I can't think of a reason why her behavior would be any different than the other girls. I generally don't invite Ivy to the island until much later so maybe there's a new story element interfering.
Yeah but i still didnt find out what its needed for.... and i was search the forum here and the walkthroughs no where i found an answer to it...

7 years later and this game still isn't finished and is still buggy sound like. smh. Milkman extraordinaire!
Compared to many other games it has few bugs (in my experience).
"Finished" as in no more contents? I like new contents.
I'm having the same problem when I get the dialogue Pidgeon shared while Jennifer is going over the posing tutorial. If I accept the tutorial, I get the error after she introduces HAPPY POSING. If I turn down the tutorial, it skips straight to the error. The full error screen calls some different values, but it resolves with the same 'I_who1' not being defined.
I'm on Windows 10. I have gotten every update that the Windows updater is offering. I tried lowering the game's resolution, but that didn't change anything.
I have used the companion mod to max the MC's stats and to increase max affection and love for the girls (except for Amy) to 100. Also used the app to change the subdermal implant levels from 1 to 3 after I get them and added a bunch of stuff to my inventory. I removed the companion mod file to try without it, but got the same result, so I've put the file back.
Gonna see about installing/updating the softwares mentioned to see if things change.

I don't think this is actually windows11 related, as I'm also running win11, and people like to blame unrelated things on it. I also disagree about this being a renpy issue, as the error is from a game specific file game/gui_screens.rpy. Line 4428 is doing a thing effectively showing a screen with a chat, requiring a who and a what.
Essentially, the game script things you're doing an interactive posing event, and that l_text1 isn't null, but l_who1 is null, then tries to say(l_who1,l_text1), and fails. Could be a bug, or it could be an issue where you've broken a sequence using a mod, but it definitely isn't windows.

I entered the console command you mentioned as I was getting the same error. I still get an error when I try to skip the posing tutorial or choosing either option at the end of the posing tutorial, after the HAPPY POSING message. Error readout below, this time specifying 'unicode' object has no name.
I'm getting the posing tutorial from Jennifer, early in the game, with her mesh bodysuit. I can avoid the tutorial by leaving after she changes into the bodysuit (which loses affection and increases her anger, not a big deal).

Did you just read the post a few above yours and think "yeah I can have some of that negative action"?? There are plenty of other games on this site, you not keen on one then find another one to play
