She's really the most tragic character so far. So no longer going for atomic superhero, what's his goal then? It does setup lots of promising threads for Sherry, & Rose lol. Cid is just a mob character, would be no use to follow Sherry. Throwing th controller is to stop magic nulifier artifact. Dad want to join Round table the highest rank of the cult. To burn all the shadow garden member. Cid want to be Eminence of the shadow, not a hero. Alpha already explained that shadow garden goal is to defeat Diabolos cult they don't care if they're painted as criminal. Plus from all the enemies so far, it's obvious that cult members already infiltrated the kingdom government Kitsune_089 said: I think this show can be saved with a ghost stories level of dub ngl, imagine they make the overdramatic scenes like really funny. | It was a good episode but I just kinda angry at Cid for not telling Sherry the truth or at least letting her know the truth by stalling Barnett long enough until she arrives to hear it herself. Now if Sherry doesn't find the truth then she'll spent her life seeking revenge for a man that kill her mother, a fucking waste of time. If Cid simply said "I don't care if she know the truth or not" then I kinda understand since it's in his character, but "You're better off not knowing", what?? How is it better that she doesn't know the truth?? In this case I found Cid to be "evil", in a way. |

| Pretty good episode. Got to see some hive-mind shadow garden action lol. I was also trying out the game of this anime during this episode too, and it was meh lol, not gonna play it again. |

Evil dad realized that Cid is Shadow but he's dead so it doesn't matter. All shadow garden supposedly wear mask. They didn't wear it in the anime probably because the gacha game exist. And covering gacha characters with mask is bad idea |

When Evil Dad said "You are..." and laughing right before he died. Evil Dad only told Cid how he killed Sherry's mum and now shadow killed him the same way. The anime is full of subtle things like this and definitely fun for rewatch |

| No challenger yet, but I'm glad this guy wasn't a match for Shadow. I wasn't expecting the assistant principal to be part of the cult. Seeing Aleixa Midgar being used as a tool and living behind her sister's shadow was sad to see, but nothing compared to what Sherry Barnett has been through. |

| Ok this is turning to be a rebellious type of anime. With that being said, I cant believe Sherry wanna have revenge for her "father" that killed her mother and manipulated her for all those years. Man if only she knew, she would be thankful for Shadow lol |

| Poor Sharry.. I feel bad for her. I also think she wants revenge... I was surprised by how little Cid seems to care about her.. I wish they would've become a couple and Iris seems to be the same girl from Cid's previous life. The one he rescued |

Cid was trying to be compassionate. There are plenty of arguments for either choice but I'm with Cid in that Sherry's current wellbeing is more important than the threat her desire for revenge may later become. |

| The manga version of Alpha relaying Shadow's words to the concerned Gamma is a better scene. Evil stepdad is dead so no further complains from me. :3 |

| When in doubt, Houchuu Ootsuka will always be the mastermind. Episode dragged a bit (considering all the preparation until night time), but great episode. |
| This kinda of development for Sherry left me with a rather bad aftertaste and skeptical of what the writter was trying to purse with this, but at least is different from the generic trope it could have gone for where she finds out the truth, the Shadow saves her, etc etc. In a way turned her in a less boring character than she would have otherwise. |

| Definitely won't be the last we see of Sherry I can assure you... Tbh, all she had to do was turn around and boom - she'd find out, but I guess you can't really suspect it when you're currently caught up in a major shock like that... Still don't know if I should take it seriously as I watch it or watch it with about the same mentality as MC. Definitely an enjoyable ride so far though |
| I'm guessing that Sherry is going to study abroad is to get more knowledge to take revenge on Shadow Garden. Her facial expressions at the end says it all |

| Poor sherry.. it would have been better to tell her the truth rather than letting her waste time to plan impossible revenge. the series improved a lot the last episodes, enjoying it more and more. |
| Damn, he’s just enjoying it. Sherry’s adopted father killed her mother. I did guess the masked guy is her adopted father. He killed her so called father but didn’t tell her the truth. I liked that. I guess she wants revenge against Shadow. |
