Like seriously , most people are talking about waifus and "my waifu is <insert here>" but when you ask him who is your favorite character , he will say the name of a male character , also most of them are straight and has no interest in the same sex so how ?? Just how ?? So i want to ask if your waifu is your best character .. and whats ur opinion on the ppl I mentioned above ?? This is not a shitpost btw .. Just confused |

This sentence of "my waifu is <insert name here>" is a funny way to spell "my favorite female character is <insert name here>" .. so ofc those guys have a favorite female/male character and only one of those two can be their favorite character of all time .. so the choice can be a male or female , it's random so ofc they aren't gay or anything , having a favorite female character does not mean she's your favorite .. |

3 ways to catch a tiger....Newtons law : allow the tiger to catch u, then u catch the tiger...Veerappan's law : kidnap tiger's wife and ask the tiger to surrender..Indian Police Method : Catch a cat and beat it until it agrees it is a tiger... Meanwhile, scientists are still trying to understand why a circular pizza is kept in a square box and eaten in triangles That moment when your battery is at 3% and you see your Boss upload pictures of himself and his family. And wanting to impress him, you quickly comment "cool pics" but auto correct changes it to "cool pigs" and your battery runs out!Don't even bother explaining, pal, just find another job Yesterday my iron box stopped working, so I went to my neighbour to borrow theirs. They asked me to use iron box in their house only. I did. This morning, my neighbour came to borrow my broomstick, so I asked them to come and use it in my house. They became angry. |

Waifu = Favorite female character, she doesn't have to be the number one favorite character and you can have more than one. I have Luffy as my favorite and no, I don't want to suck his dick or anything. I just always liked him because he's a beast and he gives no fucks. Not gay. |

Characters that are deemed, "waifus" are often characters simplified to appeal to the basic instincts of the male demographic. The difference between a waifu like Rem and a fan-favorite like Guts is, Rem is a character people fantasize about--not actually respect, and hold high regards, like Guts. A waifu vs a complex character is like a low-quality cookie from a market, and a high-quality cookie that's homemade. Does that make sense? |

Nanachi from Made in Abyss's personality is a combination of sarcasm, comedy, and seriousness, so she's better + legit backstory... Basically, just not as memorable. Yeah, Jotaro Kujo is not that complicated, and speaking from a critical standpoint, the characters you've listed are (most of them) better, but his manly as f*ck design, calm demeanor, unpredictability, tactical mind, makes him way more memorable and stand out to me then any of the characters you listed, just to name an example. Okay, I think the word I'm looking for to describe what female anime characters lack is STRIKING. |

You all have a distorted definition of what a "waifu" is: "Waifu A term coined by Otaku and Weeaboo alike for their 2D significant others; predominantly anime and video game characters. A Waifu, in contrast to a harem, is the love between one man and his one and only Waifu. You treat your Waifu with the utmost respect and courtesy and most refuse to even fap to their beloved, seeing the act as an insult to the non-existent woman they have committed themselves to. A spin-off term "Husbando" followed for Fujioshi who feel similarly towards male characters." So basically, unless you're a creeplord with tons of statues and a cum-stained body pillow, you can't discuss about them. |

You clearly haven't watched/read Berserk if you think Guts is, "Generic" I said OR has an interesting personality, and I find Jotaro Kujo's personality far more interesting than most female anime characters I've seen. The term, "interesting" cannot ever be used critically or objectively, because "interesting" is purely subjective, and depends on the person. Unlike everybody else, I don't care if a character has, "depth" if their personality isn't interesting (ie Ice Queen from Classroom of the Elite, Subaru from Re: Zero, etc) to begin with. |
