I imagine this thread has been done before, but searching forums appears to be down right now and I just had the idea, so. Sometimes an anime can have a moment so touching that I can't help myself. How about you? Whether you cried because of happiness or sadness, when did you cry, what happened and what anime was it? Please use spoilers if they're needed. [ SPOILER ] spoiler [ /SPOILER ] without the spaces. Please use spoilers if they're needed. [ SPOILER ] spoiler [ /SPOILER ] without the spaces. Please use spoilers if they're needed. [ SPOILER ] spoiler [ /SPOILER ] without the spaces. Also please indicate what anime you're talking about before the spoiler tags. Here's the ones I can remember. I don't suggest you click on these spoilers unless you've completed the entire series btw. You probably shouldn't quote my post either because I think that reveals all the spoilers. Aria - First of all...pretty much after every episode in Aria I was tearing up. How they wrapped up each episode with Akari and Ai-chan talking in reflection of the episode..I don't know, it just got me teary-eyed. - When Aika helped Akira with those clovers and helped name her the Crimson Rose. - The ending of Aria. Cried the hardest ever at any anime. - The gondola episodes. - The ending of the OVA. - Aika and Akira having that little fight in the episode where she ruined her hair. - When Alice went straight to Prima status. I'm sure theres plenty more I'm forgetting. Kaleido Star - Anna Heart's episode with her father. - During Sora and Layla's training for the ultimate maneuver when Sora hugged Layla for working so hard. - Season 1 finale, when Sora found out that Layla could never perform in the Kaleido Stage again. - When that little girl (forgot her name) saw her mother when looking at Sora. - Sora competing against Layla in the final episodes of the second season. When the music (Ray of Light) started playing. - Final episode. Clannad - Episode 9 with Fuko. - Episode 15(?) with Ichinose and that package. And lastly, I almost cried in that last part with Nagisa. Fate/stay night - Ending. Slayers When Lina died. She was dead for a brief moment. Gunbuster - Ending. I'm sure I'm forgetting a few but thats some of them. Moderator Edit: Please explain your choices and/or discuss other choices. This is not a simple listing thread. Please don't forget spoiler tags when discussing other people's posts. |

The ending of Air. I would have cried at the end if it weren't for some jackass with a car alarm out here in the middle of nowhere, totally ruining the mood. :( |

God, I get so emotional watching anime so I'll name my top 6. #1: Air - The ending was incredible. I cried my eyes out. #2: Kanon 06 - Basically every arc :\ #3: TTGL - Episode 26 got me. Damn you Kamina. #4: Clannad - Yet another one where I cried at almost every arc. Surprisingly I cried the most with the twins when they both started crying. #5: Chrno Crusade - The ending. Urgh. Perfect but sad. #6: Ef - A tale of memories - Lots of tear jerking moments. |

Not in any important order (well, actually it's alphabetical order ._.): Air: When Misuzu reached the goal ): Clannad: The end of Fuko's and Kotomi's arc had tears flowing like crazy. Kanon 2006: The end of Ayu's arc when she told Yuuichi that her last wish was for him to forget about her. Also, when Yuuichi knocked down Nayuki's snow bunny D: sola: Ending almost made me cry, but I didn't. I feel like I'm forgetting something. And lol, all the Key&Kyoanis are there. |

Omg I cried at Wolf's Rain.. that's like the saddest thing I ever saw. When Toboe died and soon after they all started dieing one by one Bokura Ga ita.. the ending ;[ how she was left crying for him all by herself at the train station and how we would not know if he actually comes back for her (at least if you have not read the manga and not planning to like me) Grave of the Fireflies.. that movie is nothing but saddness |

Roxkis said: Please Teacher I shed one tear. ONE! Just "one" tear, huh? ... yeah, right! There's lots of wonderful emotional moments in Please Teacher. In the "Please Teacher Official Fanbook" several staff and cast members write about how they would sometimes cry while working on the show or reading the script. My favorite of these anecdotes is from Tamura Yukari, voice actress for Ichigo: she liked to read through the next day's script on the train ride home from the studio, and this would sometimes cause her to start crying in the midst of total strangers. |

When the music (Ray of Light) started playing. - Final episode. Same. But one more. Sora crying while doing that first Angel's Maneuver at the circus competition. Looked so beautiful, yet sad. Fruits Basket - Kyo's story. Pokemon the First Movie (I KNOW YOU ALL DID BACK THEN :P) When all those Pokemon were fighting their clones and Ash turned to stone. Then Pikachu started crying. Samurai X: Trust and Betrayal Dang, I can't remember most of them. I know there were a few more. I know that I've cried more reading manga. Also, there are times where I think a moment could be so much more worse that I start to tear up. |

Kanon 2006 The last episodes of Makoto's arc. Starting from "I want to get married to you" up to the end. Mai's Zoo Ayu falling from the tree When Yuuichi knocked down Nayuki's snow bunny Clannad Fuko's arc. WHenever they talk about Fuko. Clannad Movie Nagisa died. I have high respect for her now. Chrno Crusade Ending when the both died. Shit this is one of the best scene ever. I didn't cry but I did hold back. My throat and head hurts after watching such beautiful scene. |

(almost) Cried at the ending: Air Chrono Crusade And it was more of a "Noooooo!" kind of thing rather than crying but RahXephon Ayato fighting Vibrato and all the messages written by Asahina popping up on all electrical screen, then at the end big "Sayonara" written with her blood across the town. I was screaming at the screen for awhile lol and theres different kind of crying with all sorts of comedy anime, especially with FMP?:Fumoffu |

I was screaming at the screen for awhile lol Yes! This! Gah that freaking RahXephon, this moment and a half dozen like it had me on an emotional rollercoaster. Uh lets see, in recent memory would be... Utawarerumono (PC Game) That final picture of Eruru clutching the mask, devastated. Heroic Age When Dianeira brings Age back from his Frenzy Zero no Tsukaima ~Futashi no Kishi~ The ending of course, up until Saito "comes back" it was fantastic, heartbreaking, engrossing In general though, I get attached to shows pretty easily, so it's not uncommon for me to get choked up frequently. Actual tears only occur if I'm watching by myself. If I'm with one or more people, I just don't get as emotionally involved in the characters for some reason, maybe it's too distracting for me. |

FMA Episode 25 when Hughes dies (especially at the funeral scene when his daughter would tell them not to bury him :( and the last 2 episodes made me cry. Death Note When L died D: And the rain scene and when Light died D: But after those I don't think I've ever cried from an anime. |

Note-1 and 2 are ok for a quick tear...but the last 2...no one can watch without crying. the elfen lied and blue gender one...you can just read an try not to tear up 1. Gundam 0080 the entire series revolves around a young boy named Al who befriends a Zeon pilot who has come to Al's colony to destroy a prototype Gundam. The pilot, whose name is bernie befriends and falls for Al's next door neighbor Christina...who happens to be the pilot of the prototype gundam. the series ends with Bernie attempting a last ditch effort to destroy the gundam so that the zeon wont nuke the colony killing al an christina (who he doesnt know is the pilot of the gundam). he decides to fight the gundam with a hastily repaired mobile suit with no weapons and Al watches the gundam an Bernie fight to the death with bernie being killed an Al then realizing that christina was the gundam's pilot 2. The episode of Heroic Age when the humans massacre a Bronze Tribe planet of non-combatants 3. Elfen Lied it was a flash back episode of Lucy's childhood. as a child Lucy had found a stray puppy an wanted to keep it as a pet, but the orphanage she lived in had a group of boys that loved to bully her. so the boys pinned her down, took the puppy an threw it against the wall, an then took a vase and proceeded to blugeon the puppy to death all in front of Lucy's eyes god i had to pause the video and go away for a while when i saw this because it was too horrific 4. Blue Gender Yuji an Marlene found a refugee village where people lived safe from the blue. the blue found a way in an marlene an yuji prepare to fend off the blue. before the battle, yuji befriends a young girl named yune who has a puppy. before the battle yune sets the puppy free because she doesnt want it to get hurt in the upcoming battle. the puppy wont leave so yune begins throwing rocks at the puppy to scare it away (all while she's crying)...an it gets worse... the battle comes an yuji an marlene are unable to protect the village an everyone is massacred. yuji then sees yune carried off by a blue an killed. as marlene an yuji leave the ruins of the village, the puppy comes back an just sits in the middle of the village and begins crying, wondering where its master is... anyone who cant cry at the last two has no soul |
