We were talking anout how much of the novel story manga covered and when you came and started talking about, I presume, how much story manga covered in general, not comparing to the novel. Unless you have some odd way of dividing web novel in volumes (the story is different in some aspects but first 4 volumes of web novel cover the same events al light novel still). Or you have a wrong interpretation of the word volume, I don't know.

I also think that the story can be well adapted also from the manga, not only from the LN. As the author states in the manga "afterwords" it is a straight adaption from the LN and there are some elements that were impossible to rapresent decently in the LN without several "rapresentative images".
May I am wrong, but seems like that the visuals in the trailer/PV came direcly from the manga (Vol. 1 and 2, maybe 3). Also the scene rapresented in the new KV is exacly the same as in the final scene of the manga's Vol. 1 ch. 1.
There are two manga adaptions, and I am talking about the most loyal and reliable one (the one with ★8.46).
(My intent is not to fuel any arguing, only discussing)

I said exact thing you did that manga is currently on events of vol. 3 of LN and just pointed out that vol. 4 of LN is a perfect place to stop the season, which is ahead of the manga story. Ending it on the current manga events with so much episodes is just not a good option. We are not talking about visual style in terms "which should be adapted". Anime will be a bit different from either visually anyway.
