So it's missing a kinetic novel tag? How otherwise would you be able to split a story into multiple episodes, if it's not completely linear?
A game doesn't need to be *completely* absent of interaction to have a single beginning and a single end, nor to have a single midpoint. Think of it like an hourglass shape.

I remember seeing it pop some time ago I was interested but waiting for more content to be out b4 giving it a chance. I think I'll try it now and see what to make of it. From the overview the plot seems interesting, atleast in my books.
I wonder though are the choices interesting or is it mostly kinetic. Like in these games you often have some good/evil stats or a similar. I wo't lie I quite like those hope this will have a similar system.
They often feature a "piece of sh1t" MC with no option for the player to choose what to do with his powers. Only one I have seen are Savior, corruption of chamions (been a while since I last played this one so correct me if I'm wrong but I rly liked the fact that you could use your mind powers to make suggestions stronger and not break them) that actually lets you choose if you want to be bad or good.
I mean mind powers can be used for so many things and you could get so creative with them, do a lot of good. Like instead of making smn submit to your will yould make her hate the "evil" things she did... I mean it depends on who you have in front of you lol. I just personally find it more fun to guide smn rather than "dollify" smn. Playing with a doll becomes boring after a bit lol.
In end it's always the same. bla bla from now on you super horny when you see me (that one can be good though lol), you're my slave bla bla lol. I'm sry it's just frustrating how it's always the same things lol when there are so many possibilities.

Oh wait I just read the dev notes, that's why it's important to read those lol. DOes that mean that we'll be by default "evil". I mean, are there meaningful choices where we can influence our character's sense of morals? Bc from the few games with mind control as their main focus.

1. The story has one route but most of the ero-scenes are optional(and there's a lot of them and some have alternate versions).
2. Like many other characters, the protagonist is better represented by a shade of grey rather than just good/evil.
"Like instead of making smn submit to your will yould make her hate the "evil" things she did" - well, that can happen as a side-effect but it's certainly not the main goal by itself. If it benefits the protagonist in some way, then yea, it's possible.
3. "I mean mind powers can be used for so many things and you could get so creative with them, do a lot of good." - I agree and that was/is my aim to be as creative as possible with mind control in my game.
4. SotV Part 1, consisting of Prologue + Chapter 1, is finished and available for DL for free and the first 20-30 minutes should give you an idea of what kind of story and characters you can expect.
The protagonist's character alignment would definitely fall under "evil" (probably Neutral Evil by D&D standards), and most of his uses of his mind control powers would be described as "abusive". You can't really change anything, either, just choose which order to do things. That said, he's sort of an "anti-villain" in many ways, and his main end goal seems to be simply living a comfortable life free from the threats of the various other factions who seek to stop or control him - even if reaching that goal means corrupting and enslaving some of them from within. He's the kind of evil-aligned character you could see in a D&D party traveling alongside good and neutral characters. He actually has a surprisingly wholesome relationship with a certain thief, complete with consensual usage of his mind control in order to spice up their lovemaking (although he hasn't yet done anything to permanently alter her).
You're right that there's not nearly enough "reverse corruption" or consensual/wholesome mind control games out there, though. Maybe some day.
Still playing through the latest update, but the ero scene with Irina, Rebecca and Zoe is incredibly satisfying.
To keep on topic, you are undoubtedly "evil" in this game, and personally I kind of like that. There's way too many games, especially mind control games, that try to be a little bit of everything to everyone by having more "corruption" or other mechanics that let you try to thread the needle between non-con encounters and having a harem of women who love you somehow. This game has a very strong POV and is better for it. It won't be for everyone, but I think that's fine. The author understands the mind control fetish very well, in my opinion. It's not just an easy button to get to erotic scenes. It's just as much about the power exchange, entrancement and control as it is about the sex.
