I'm curious why Patreon would be a better option than Subscribestar. From what I've seen You are held to less rules there than on Patreon. I concur with others that moving to subscribestar might be the better option. What I'm curious about is the argument of why you would rather stay on Patreon instead. Like if it seems like everyone is saying Subscribestar is the better option cause you have more freedom there, then why would you stay on Patreon? If there is some info here I am unaware of that can answer this then by all means let me know.

WWG ought to switch to SubscribeStar, no use staying with Patreon and having to rewrite most of the game and having to walk on eggshells for future releases. Their ridiculous rules just stifle creative freedom.

That's valid. Though I have seen other devs here only use Substar and they seem to be doing fine. plus if you already have a following and let them know you are switching platforms, many will probably switch over as well to continue support. And some are already stating that they will.
