I wasn’t a big fan of this episode.

I’m glad things are progressing and they confirmed that Acca and Ura-Acca are the orchestrators, but it was not handled well at all. The pacing was all over the place in this episode. Neiru reveals that she met her vegetative friend in an egg-dream and then we spend like 10 minutes watching what should have been a quick flashback.

As a result, the rest of the episode after it feels very rushed. Neiru wants to shut down her friend’s life-support, but her friends are the least supportive people about it. They weren’t the girl’s friends, they don’t have the roght to get angry at Neiru for coming to that decision. This should be obvious, but the anime tries to force this conflict in anyways.

But the dumbest moment in this episode has to be Acca and Ura-Acca revealing that they may be behind the girls’ suicides while 2 of our main girls are listening. I can only assume that they knew the girls were listening because that would be brain-dead writing if they didn’t.

Also, the trauma of the albino girl made no sense. I thought that the trauma was what drives the girls to kill themselves (on the surface anyways). Why would not wanting a doctor to examine your body drive her to keep doing near-death experiments and ultimately vegetate herself? That is actively working toward making her trauma a reality. Don’t even get me started on how dumb that math question was in their fight.

I still think this is a good show, but this has to be the worst episode so far (aside from the recap episode which looks to be an official entry).

Pretty good episode, it was focused on Neiru who has a friend named Kotobuki that is connected to a machine so that she could still be breathing but she is in a state of coma. I liked Neiru's and Kotobuki's chemistry, they were cool fighting against the wonder killer.

The rest of the girls were nice as always, Ai being able to hear Neiru's real sentiments about disconnecting or not her friend from the machine, Rika and Momoe's sympathy towards the friend and to Neiru because they didn't want her to carry that burden. We are nearing the end of this fantastic series.

Part of me is relieved that this won't be a poor story, where symbolism and themes have more relevance than understandable writing. But I'm also a bit disappointed that they will use the "cientist experiment doing something unimaginable" resolution. So many anime have already used this resolution, so I was expecting a anime like Wonder Egg Priority keep trying to be fresh until the end. It's not going to ruin anything for me, but it does concern me if they're going for a cliche ending.

Great episode, great animation I’m hoping the coming episodes will be good, but I think for the last scene where uru and acca say they are the cause for the suicides I think that the girls that died also were heroes or wonder priority girls at some point and that’s how they had access to conduct experiments

Kotobuki's design was amazing to see! loved it!

That's quite the surprise, to hear that Acca and Ura-Acca are the cause of all the suicides?? Too bad for them, that Momo and Rika were around to hear it... I hope. Neiru's assistent/professor, not sure what she really needs to be, seems to be into the sheme as well.

Was nice to see more of Neiru, where she lives and what/who she actually is. It's interesting, especially getting to know the reason why she didn't see or knew any of her parents. Kotobuki seems to be in the same situation. Honestly would have loved to have her in the group, but too bad she already died and was found in an egg as well.

Random unrealistic depiction of an albino girl who is also brain dead and a scientist comes in to drop nonsensical "scientific" theories, amazing, simply amazing.
Thing with the Accas was superficially interesting we don't know anything about their intentions, their motivations or their long-term goals unlike with Kyuube from Madoka, I do wonder why Neiru's assistant was contacting them though.
So what's with the statues then, just a red herring? That would be lame.

In my opinion the weakest episode, it wasnt bad, just nowhere near as good as the others. First they tried me to care about neiru, and although i do like her, i really did not care about her friend at all, we knew about her sister, so why did we had to introduce an entire new character for her episode when we already knew one which was already interesting to us and would have made a far more interesting episode? Despite that, i did like neiru overall, i really like her objective but also rather sweet atitude. The acca guys part was kinda weird, im pretty interested but i gotta be honest that the fact that the two dolls, which have been motoring this girls for a long time with literal bugs, did not noticed them spying on them...
The art was a little worse than the other episodes, but that was too be expected, and the animation was just as good as the others. The direction was also rather fine, nothing spectacular but good enough.

Alright so, Acca could be seen as a god, and is playing a game of what appears to be goh, with Ura-Acca. ura can mean reverse or wrong side in japanese so it is possible that they are competing in something. Where in Acca is god and Ura-Acca is his opposite, as opposed to being his servant.

Over the course of the series so far, Ura-Acca has deliberately done things out of tandem with Acca so I would speculate they are not allies per say, I would imagine the eggs are a kind of playing piece in a battle to be god or something like that... Hard to say for sure though

im afraid i dont know about that game >->
It is a game about a girl who has to explore her dreams to get some "effects" and reach the end of the game. It's great if you want patience and dedication, it's long and has bizarre elements that might surprise you.

Anyway, at first I thought that Wonder Egg had that resemblance to that game. But it seems that it is far from the case. Although now you made me remember it hehe

I do agree the pacing felt off, maybe they had to cut it down since they made that recap ep?

I would be very surprised if Ura-Acca and Acca didn't know the two were watching them. They seem rather omnipotent, at least in their domain.

It seemed like the girl didn't know that was her trauma either since she asked the Dr who he was. It could very well be that she had subconsciously suppressed those feelings but it could've been explained a bit better imo.

It's neat that they took a week off and then came back with this absolute fiasco of an episode. It's hard to know even where to begin. It starts out claiming that it's going to be a filler episode. From there, we go on a field trip to CEO-girl's lab and straight to their machine for stealing the dreams out of your head. Then she casually drops that she's a vat-grown ubermensch, genetically designed to be the ultimate CEO. But wait, there's more. She then pulls aside the curtain and they've been sitting next to her albino braindead friend in a vat the entire time. But wait, there's more. Said friend was a fellow vat-ubermensch, obsessed with death, running crazy ass experiments on herself until she killed herself. BUT WAIT, THERE'S MORE. Aside from her thinking death is the funnest thing ever, her monster is a bird that forces them to solve a geometry problem. BUT WAIT, etc. We then cut from there to hell's vending machine where the exposition dudes are taking a video call with the assistant that, no hyperbole here, is basically them going "So, it'd be super bad if the girls were to discover that we're secretly evil and manipulating them." "Yes, then they would try to stop our evil plans." Did they just give up on writing all together? Did they see the episode count looming and hurriedly have to throw together some kind of ending? What even was this nonsense?

Absolutely loved Neiru's sister. Her character, her laid back attitude towards death, her dying to confirm parallel worlds..... chefs kiss. As a sucker for parallel world stories I absoluetly loved her ambition to confirm parallel worlds, something she'd even die for. I thought her sister would end up being some closed off/socially awkward/angry and antisocial typical character but she was breath of fresh air.

Caaan't really argue with any of that. Definitely a lot lower on this show after the last two weeks. The Neiru is a CEO thing was always out of place, and I'd done my best to ignore it, but now it's become a key feature to finally moving the plot. Just cause something's fiction doesn't mean anything is game. Throwing in dream machines and eugenics and parallel worlds all at once muddles the whole thing. I suppose we can say the Accas are responsible for all of it to at least tie the various fantastical elements together, but it'd be better without them. Too bad. How this show would handle the likely plot twist was a question from the start, but this is not encouraging.

I'm also surprised they really cancelled Kotobuki's life support, I thought Ai went back to convince Neiru not to do it but either she changed her mind or I misunderstood because she ended up coaxing her into doing it..

I was not expecting Neiru's personal assistant to be a direct report to the Accas. Not to mention, the Accas are responsible for the suicides! What the hell is going on here?!

Actually, it isn't even a rectangle by looking at the measurements. If that was the case such radius would actually exist by placing the center of the circle at the center of the rectangle. Then the radius would be half the length of one of its diagonals.

A rectangle inside a circle is always a square. The proof is really trivial but you can have fun proving so.

What do you mean? You can perfectly draw a rectangle inside a circle with a pair of sides of A and B that are not equal if the relation A^2+B^2 = 4R^2 is satisfied.

Anyways, the circle doesnt exist because the right angle makes a contradiction between two pythagorean triangles that you can draw. The sides by themselves can satisfy a inscription on a circle, so it can be a cyclic quadrilateral, and the radius can be encountered by using some theorem, but the constraint of the angle makes it invalid

3/5 - This episode was pretty disappointing to say the least. The character development for Neiru felt flat. I didn’t really connect with Kotobuko, at all. She seemed random and one dimensional. Also why didn’t Neiru just show them the clip of her and Kotobuko? Or is it assumed that they saw it? I’m sure if they did the egg girls would’ve probably been more open to taking Kotobuko off life support - witnessing how hard this situation actually is for Neiru. I appreciated the moment between Ai and Neiru though, a very precious scene. The pacing of this episode felt off though. Also the twist at the end seemed very Madoka vibes - which I totally appreciate being a huge Madoka fan and don’t mind at all. I really hope this episode doesn’t set the tone for the rest of WEP. I have high hopes for this show and hope it won’t fall flat on it’s face. Every other episode has been decent until this one IMO. That being said the series is almost done and I feel like if it was given more time, Neiru and Kotobuko could’ve been more fleshed out. Hoping they give Momoe more screen time and an episode like they did for Rika and Neiru!

Today's episode was actually really heartbreaking... I'm still not sure as to why Kotobuki decided to 'end her own life'? Well other than that, it was really refreshing and nice to see Neiru opening up more to her friends, most specifically Ai. She has a lot of potential for character development and I can't wait to see more of her story develop. Although, Kotobuki's death is a bit confusing for me and is Neiru's assistant secretly meeting up with Acca and UraAcca???
