RIVER TWINE HOLT
On a planet that is not the Abode of the ElfQuest comics, the High Ones were driven away from thefallen Palace by Trolls, but their descendants never lost the memory of where said Palace was located. A group of wolfblooded and pureblooded elves left ultimately came back to the region where the Palace fell, unaware that it had been split into pieces and moved deep underground. They determined to stay in the forest they found, and forge their own tales.
Grooming: (MATURE) A tale of the tribe’s history. Here, the first Chieftess of this offshoot tribe and her mate discuss how the next Chief or Chieftess will be chosen. While engaged in their daily grooming ritual. (Illustrated)
Sounds And Silence (Part 1 of 5): (SFW) The story of how the Wolfrider named Axehand became One-Leg and comes to terms with the loss of his leg and what that loss meant for his place in his tribe. It all began when he fell off his telepathically bonded wolf-friend, Traptease.
All In A Name: Part 1 (Part 2 of 5): (SFW) By the time of this tale, Axehand’s shattered leg has become gangrenous. He and his family must face the oncoming amputation.
Re-Attached (part 3 of 5): (SFW) Here, post-amputation Axehand tries to rebuild his connection with his telepathically bonded wolf-friend. Whose instincts to push away weakness have driven them apart. At the same time, he must deal with the aftermath of a decision he made right before going under the knife.
All In A Name 2 (Part 4 of 5): (SFW) Months have passed since the last story. Months in which the recently renamed One-Leg feels himself being left behind by his tribe. He returns to the scene of his accident to examine his life. But his mate has been tracking him…
Another Very Long Walk (part 5 of 5): (SFW) This story begins days after the previous one in this series. The elves of River Twine have a rite-of-passage in which young ‘cubs’ travel the length of their hunting territory under the guidance of an elder. One-Leg has decided to engage in this tradition again. Not knowing his daughter is on her way to intercept him in his journey.
Impulses: (MATURE) A poem of mine imported from River Twine Holt. A detailing of a shark attack during a fishing trip. Told from the point of view of that shark, and its primitive way of experiencing the world. Emphasis is placed on the electrical senses of a shark. (Illustrated)

WORLD OF DANEN
Another original region of elves created for an online ElfQuest RPG forum (World Of Danen- no active links). Two tribes inhabiting a rainforest environment. One evil-aligned, the other their good-heated rivals. The story combines her backstory, a limited summary of in-game events, and her plans for the future. I have expanded the following story from an old document, to fill in gaps in the narrative that were played out over posts.
Confessions Of A Dangerous Elf: (MATURE) An evil elf with the power of anti-healing and not a small about of martial prowess tells her life’s story to an enemy.

WINDRUNNERS HOLT
Yet another gaming holt, http://windrunners.freeforums.net" rel="nofollow ugc noreferrer noopener">the Windrunners line on a savanna canyon, and engage in twice-yearly caravans to a greener land where much of their food is grown. Their population consists of a mix of Wolfblooded and Immortal Elves, a pack of jackwolves and a herd of horses, and three Preservers thrown in for flavor.
