So out of all Anime y'all have seen has the best ending In your opinion?
If you don't have a best one, which ending impact you the most?

For me It was the Ending of Shigatsu wa Kimi no Uso. I found it so beautiful and so well crafted that it literally turned me the Anime from a 6/10 to a 10/10. (Don't judge me xD)

This thread is only for sharing opinions, you can comment at other people's Replies but just don't start a trivial discussion here.

Kekkai sensen ED is the best ending ever

I also like the endings of Evangelion, Bakemonogatari, FMAB, Shigatsu wa kimi Na Uso, Fate Zero, AnoHana, Bunny girl senpai, Re Zero, Kaze ga Tsuyoku Fuiteiru and some of the ED of the big shonens.
Eventually, you'll fall into death's embrace anyway, so it's stupid to be bound by useless ideals.

Code Geass easily. Went from 7 to 9 faster than the speed of light.
Another is School Days. In fact the only memorable and lasting episode from it.
FMAB was good and wholesome.
Kimi no na wa and Garden of Words were also pretty good.
AssClass and Angel Beats were also good but they could have been better.
Stein's Gate would have been mentioned if the ending had not been so predictable.
And the one that had the biggest impact on me was of course YLIA.
"You are the result of 4 billion years of evolution. Act like it."
"Why don't you eat make up? Then you can be beautiful on the inside too."
"'Sick'? Call me 'twisted'. 'Sick' makes it sound like there's a cure."
"What's messed up isn't my thinking, what's messed up is this god damn world."
"The world isn't perfect, but its out there doing the best it can for us. That's what makes it so damn beautiful."

to me, gurren lagann hands down, it was really bittersweet, but we can clearly see the pinnacle of the development of simon at this point, he really had became the ultimate protagonist.

The ending hasn't been adapted yet because they're only about 2/3 through the story, but the ending of the Mob Psycho 100 web manga is one of the most satisfying and fulfilling endings to a story that I've ever experienced. Couldn't wish more for a season 3. I want to see that sunflower.

Cowboy Bebop - The show was mostly a 7 or an 8 for me up until then. Then the Real Folk Blues kicked in and I started crying tears. That ending scene was the best I had ever seen. Runner up would be FMAB.

Akage no Anne definitely. That was incredibly impactful and memorable for me.
Favorite anime and favorite ending.

Ping Pong: The Animation had a solid ending that I really liked.

Tatami Galaxy also had a memorable finale.

Girls' Last tour ending was effective and a little haunting ( in a good way). And it was incomplete lol. I'll probably read the manga soon.

Black Lagoon: Second Barrage ending was very memorable for me.

Juuni Taisen ending was a great way of doing a reset ending that exemplifies character struggles instead of washing them away. Unpopular opinion, I know everyone disliked this show.

Prison School ending was hype and cathartic thanks to all the buildup.

Yorimoi had an excellent ending, probably the best it ever could have.

Shinsekai Yori ending was strong and contemplative. Left a nice impact.

There are so many choices, most of which were already mentioned. Gurren Lagann, Monster, Cowboy Bebop, FMA:Brotherhood, Gungrave, Steins;Gate, Hibike! Euphonium, Your Lie in April, Shin Sekai Yori, Now and Then Here and There...

But I'm going to give my nod to Fantastic Children. Not because its final episode is the best of the lot I've mentioned (that would go to Gurren Lagann or Monster), but because that show needs exposure and I'll be damned if I don't at least try to provide some. It also ticks the right boxes for tying up loose threads, being heartwarming and heartbreaking, ending with its legendary OP, etc.

This glorious signature image was created by @Mayumi!

I am the Arbiter of Absolute Truth, and here is my wisdom:

"Anime was always influenced by the West. This is not news.
Shoujo is the superior genre primarily aimed at young people.
Harem/isekai are lazy genres that refuse any meaningful innovation.
There is no 'Golden Age.' There will always be top-shelf anime.
You should be watching Carole & Tuesday."

Code Geass - As iconic as it gets.

Climax of Berserk '97 (Functions as the ending of that adaptation).

Devilman: Crybaby

Fate/Zero - provides an amazing transition to the Stay Night storyline.

Surprised to see so few mentions to Evangelion. End of Evangelion is perfection.

The ending of Dragon Ball GT (and Dragon Ball as a whole) was also perfection. Probably the best ending ever for a long-running shounen series.
